Second Step is the fourteenth chapter of the Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan manga.
Summary[]
Ikki brings along Stella and Ayase with him to a pool for Ayase's further training, while Stella continues to be conflicted over her love troubles. While training, Ayase suddenly approaches Stella asking if she is dating with Ikki, which Stella initially denies due to their status problem, but is eventually tricked by Ayase into revealing the truth. After taking advice from Ayase, Ayase decides to leave Ikki and Stella alone which turns awkward, due to both of them being unable to communicate properly leading to an embarrassing situation for the two when they ended up arguing out for everyone to listen.
The two of them then hide inside a barrier of water created by Stella using her magic as Ikki and Stella once again reaffirm their love for each other and finally kisses. After the training in the pool, Ikki, Stella and Ayase go for a dinner where they are suddenly interrupted by a man who seems to know Ayase.
